After many searches and researches, I was able to obtain the following information about the new Romanian law.
The actual pension program will start only in July.
For now the Romanian government is willing to pay for certain expenses that Holocaust survivors incur. For details, please contact SELF HELP COMMUNITY SERVICES in your place of residence, or call: 1-212.971-5475 or 1-866.735.1234.
I am still contacting many organizations, the Romanian embassy and the Claims Conference in NY. All promised to call back as soon as they find out more details.
Please be patient. I am sure that at the end something will work out in our interest.
