Dear all,
I was very glad when Edgar Hauster joined the exhibition opening of a selection of my photos at Kunsthallen RottstraĂźe 5 in Bochum on Friday night as a speaker. Thank you dear Edgar! The show was organised by students of Bochum University and I cannot praise enough this self-organised students initiative to keep the memory of Jewish Eastern Europe alive! The exhibition is only a beginning for following lectures and discussion forums during next weeks and months. For all of you who have no opportunity to visit Bochum, here are some impressions of the opening event and the photos on exhibit - including Jewish heritage sites in Ukraine, Poland, Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
