Czernowitzers...
Fellow member Dietmar Friesenegger draws our attention to ANNO - AustriaN Newspapers Online having digitized the daily newspaper "Czernowitzer Tagblatt" for the years 1903-1919. One cannot overemphasize the importance of these three main Online Newspapers Archives both from historical AND genealogical point of view, which are covering Czernowitz and Bukovina:

Let me illustrate, what I'm talking about: A simple search for "Hauster" (narrowed down to Czernowitz) leads in ANNO to 27, in DiFMOE to 4 and in LIBRARIA to 2 matches, all of them enlightening articles on my family members.
One more thing: Don't miss the most innovative interval search at ANNO, which looks like that:
"Elias Hauster"~10
It means that the word sequence becomes insignificant as long as the two terms f. i. "Elias" and "Hauster" stand within an interval of max. f. i. 10 words. Extremely rewarding tool, check it out!
