It was well known in Czernowitz that Sadagura (Sadovaia-gora) had its
origin in Gartenberg, but this is by the point, and Prof. Corbea-
Hoisie is of course right that it was never called by another name,
and even if there were some reasons to change the name, that should
never have been done without consulting him.
When I was a youngster in Cz. my friends had no scruples in baptising
Sadagura to "Santa Gora Transit Prutum". That was the counterpart to
the Question and answer joke:
Q: Where is the town Czernowitz exactly situated in Bukowina?
Answer: At the outskirts of Sadagura!
