http://czernowitz.ehpes.com/ > Ehpes Collections > Ehpes Databases > Czernowitz Birth/Marriage/Death Records. Searching on KRANTZ yields two hits on Rudolf Krantz and one on an Isabela Krantz. These results did not show up by using the search box on the home page of our website because this particular database is external to our site. If you haven’t seen this info, it may be worth a look. Since these data refer to the Holocaust, it may be that is how Rudolf met his end. It also may be of interest that Krantz/Kranz does not seem to show up in the Czernowitz Directories databases over the years.
By way of this email, I will copy your message to our group of almost 500 Bukovina researchers; hopefully someone may have Kran(t)z’s on their tree.
