I know, what follows in the next lines is a shameless self-promotion. Some of you have enjoyed accompanying me virtually on my travels through Bukovina, Galicia and other regions. Sometimes it was said in comments, I should make a book out of my photos. I have done that now. A few days ago, Lukas Verlag published my book "In Fading Light. Traces of Jewish Life in the East of Europe". The photo book contains 110 images on 180 pages. Chernivtsi/Czernowitz is well represented. Adam Kerpel-Fronius from the Memorial for the murdered Jews of Europe has contributed a preface.
