Just a minor remark=2E If he reached Israel in May 1948=3B it is very li=
kely that he made Haapala in 1947 and was caught by the British and inte=
rned in a camp in Cyprus=2E The British did not let interned Jewish inma=
tes of these camps to make Aliya in 1948 if they were at ages 18-45=2C s=
o that they wouldn=27t join the Haganah or Etzel or Lehi=2C so quite a n=
umber of inmates changed their date of birth when in Cyprus=2C to be old=
er then 45=2E It is likely that this is what Rudolf Kranz did to be allo=
wed to make Aliya on May 1948=2E When arriving in Israel his only docume=
nt was that from Cyprus so in the Census of 1949 he was registered as bo=
rne in 1898=2E

=3E to 1898=2C up to his death in Duesseldorf=2C Germany in 1980=2E He a=

=3E his wife Isabelle (Elisheva) did not have any children=2E Isabelle =
=3E died in 2006 in Dusseldorf and I am trying to find any =
=3E relatives=2Clike his siblings=2C to see if they had children and/or =
