Dear List Members,

Once again, I'm so very sad to inform you of the passing of our dear friend, Dr. Cornel Fleming. It's so sad to lose another indomitable original Czernowitzer, one so interesting and so knowledgeable, especially about war time history. I think many of you met Cornel and Marsha during the 2006 reunion in Czernowitz. We will miss him greatly, and may his memory be a blessing.

So sorry to have to share this news with you, as originally shared with us by Jeanette Rosenberg.

Bruce

Dear Merle Edgar and Jerome

I think that we have lost a member of our Czernowitz list. This week's
Jewish Chronicle posts 2 obituaries for Cornel :
https://www.thejc.com/personal

FLEMING. Dr Cornel. Doctor, soldier, husband and father, he dedicated
his life to caring for and protecting others. A survivor of the Shoah,
he also served in the Six Day and Yom Kippur Wars before working in
the NHS. Forever in our hearts, Marsha, Simon and Dalia.

FLEMING. Cornel. My dearest friend of over 55 years, we met in Israel,
he was the best friend ever, he will be deeply missed. May his soul
rest in everlasting peace. Deepest condolences to his wife Marsha, son
Simon and daughter Dalia. Wonderful memories will be cherished.-
Michael and Dianne Misler and family.

May his memory be for a blessing.  I didn't really know him, I'd met
him a couple of times at events in London, but I do know he was "one
of us"

Please can one of you post something to the Cz list, I know he used to
post there quite often.

All good wishes

Jeanette
