Czernowitzers,
I have no Switkes in my database of music professionals (persecuted during
national socialism), but one person née Tartakower:
Piano teacher Sabine / Sarah Tartakower, b. 27.06.1893 Brody, married to
lawyer Dr. Heinrich Hirschhorn (d. 1922). She lived in Vienna until 1938,
when she fled to Palestine and lived in Tel Aviv. Their children:
Jeremias, Kurt (or Ruth?) and Shulamith Hirschhorn, who also graduated as
a piano teacher. In another context I found Dr. Hirschhorns wife (probably
not correct) as Luba Hirschhorn b. 10.02.1893 Tomaschow, 1920 a piano
student in Vienna.
I would be grateful for any information on Sabine or Luba Hirschhorn or
their children.
