Let's see the bigger picture and follow me to Harlau. A small town in north=
eastern Romania, located within 85 kilometers of Suceava and 140 kilometers=
of Czernowitz, Harlau was also home to an important Yiddish speaking Jewis=

Dr. Janina Ilie, good friend and Project Manager Professional at the Federa=
tion of Jewish Communities in Romania drew my attention to the inauguration=
of the Jewish Museum and the reopening of the Great Synagogue

which will take place in solemn atmosphere in Harlau on June 13, 2019. Ther=
e is evidence for interaction between Jews from Harlau and Czernowitz. This=
said, each and any documents/photos from or with respect to Harlau, to be =
displayed at the Jewish Museum, are highly appreciated.
