Dear Rachel,
My father is from Czernowitz and my paternal grandmother's maiden name was =
Anny Hubner Andermann. She had a sister, Julia Hubner. Their family came f=
rom Kolomea, a larger town which is not far from Wiznitz. I don't have a lo=
t more information, but just thought it might interest you to see this:

Have a meaningful trip,

Dear Rachel,
Beyond our earlier correspondence about online directories, I'm unable to a=
ssist you further. But within your message is something of great importanc=
e to many of us. You mention searching the JOWBR database <
https://www.jewi=
shgen.org/databases/Cemetery/> for burials in Wiznitz. I thought you were =
searching data that didn't exist in JOWBR. But further checking revealed t=
hat more than 2000 burials in Wiznitz were posted to JOWBR earlier this mon=
th! See:
https://www.jewishgen.org/databases/cemetery/jowbrshow.php?ID=U=
KR-08331
You can read more about the responsible organization, Jewish Galicia and Bu=
kovina Organization, and their work to document the cemetery in Wiznitz her=

y-vizhnitsa-are-available-now-our-site

Chudey / Ciudei / Ciudin was added to JOWBR earlier this month, as well, ab=
out 100 burials:

(It's not clear who is to thank for posting these data.)
My only suggestion to you, Rachel, is to search for Shlomo Hubner in the Wi=
znitz cemetery without using his surname. Many were buried using only their=
Hebrew Patronymic names, e.g. Moshe ben Zvi Hersch. Perhaps he's still in=
the database. It's also possible that he's in the Wiznitz cemetery but hi=
s tombstone is unreadable, as happens with many 100 yr old matzevot.
Good luck, Rachel, with your search and your trip.
Bruce
