Hi Ron
You caught my attention about your great-grandfather who was the Chief
Rabbi of Czernowitz.
My grandfather, Rabbi Lazar Gross was also a Rabbi in Czernowitz who died
sometimes in the mid-1930's
before my birth. I was born in 1941 in Mogilev - a German Concentration
Camp and never got to know
my grandfather. If you have any information about him please send it.
