Let me introduce myself
I was born in 1930 in Chernauti as the Rumanian called it
My son is married to the daughter of Mary and John Ziegler
I personally speak as a volunteer survivor at the Sydney Jewish (holocaust) museum and an organisation called Courage to Care
I am particularly interested at addition to the ancestor stories
I have my story recorded in print and plan to start a story with attachments from my living relatives and archived stories

My grandfather, Adolph Mechner (1897-1988), was born in Czernowitz and lived there until 1918. At age 80, he wrote a detailed family autobiography that I thought this group might find interesting. It includes his reminiscences, descriptions, and photographs of life in Czernowitz, as well as his later life in Vienna and New York.
