Tag- und Nachttorte
Zutaten
• Masse für den Tag
100 g Butter
120 g Staubzucker
1 P. Bourbon VZ
2 Eidotter, 2 Eiklar
140 g Mehl
1 MS Weinstein Backpulver
Masse für die Nacht
100 g Butter
100 g Staubzucker
1/2 P. Bourbon VZ
1 Eidotter, 1 Eiklar
100 g erweichte Schokolade
100 g Mehl
1 MS Weinstein Backpulver
Marillenmarmelade zum Füllen
Schokoglasur
Prise Salz
Vorbereitungen
Alle Zutaten eine halbe Stunde vorher bereitstellen, Mehl mit Backpulver und Zucker mit VZ versieben, zwei Tortenformen ausfetten und bemehlen
Zubereitung
1.
Für die Tagmasse Butter mit Zucker schaumig abtreiben. Eier trennen. Eidotter unterrühren. Eiklar mit Prise Salz steif schlagen und abwechselnd mit Mehl unterheben.
Bei der Nachtmasse kommt die erweichte Schokolade dazu und nur ein Eidotter und ein Eiklar für den Eischnee.

Pro Masse eine Tortenform befüllen und im Rohr bei 175 °C ca. 20 Minuten backen. Machen Sie die Nadelprobe. Herausnehmen und auskühlen lassen.
3.
Marillenmarmelade leicht erwärmen und die dunkle Torte damit einstreichen. Helle Torte darauf setzen und ebenfalls mit Marmelade obenauf einstreichen.
4.
Schokoladenglasur lt. Rezept herstellen und die Torte damit überziehen.Adrian

Here is a simpler recipe of the same cake. Actually it is the one my mother used to make.
Day and Night Cake (Fifi)
200 gr Ground Walnuts
200 gr Sugar
100 gr Melted bitter chocolate
2 egg yolks
4 egg whites beaten to a peak
Lemon rind
Mix egg yolks, sugar and chocolate. Add nuts and last the egg whites.
Bake at 350 F for 30-45 min
When almost ready, top with
A Merengue of 3 egg whites + 100 gr sugar + 50 gr peeled almonds, finely slivered or coarse chopped
Bake a few minutes or until slightly brown on top
