An animal romance without happy end: Waldi, the male dog, fell in love with
a bitch at the unoccupied property close to Bronin [?]. The love story took
its course, but both Waldi and his finacée took the hits, Waldi being later
on deeply scolded, leashed and grounded by G., the dog owner. Bad luck! Here
is the transcription of the [old] German text:

"Lb. Cleine! Waldi soeben in flagranti mit einer "Dame" unmittelbar nach dem
an dich gerichteten Schreiben betreten. Anstoßend beim Bronin ist ein
unbewohntes Haus mit Garten. In dieser romantischen Einsamkeit hat Waldi
seinen Liebesroman gespielt. Die Dame bekam von mir einen Stockstreich und
jagte sie davon. Waldi bekam die ärgsten Schimpfe und mit dem Strickerl
einige Streiche. Heute bekommt er Zimmerarrest u. muß angebunden hüten. Das
schlechte Lumperle! [...]! [...] dein G."
