RINZLER FAMILY

<x-charset iso-8859-1>It has been a while since I posted my family research interests on this
list. Below is a copy 4 generations of the Rinzler family. My mother, Clara
Rinzler Conoboy, is the daughter of Moishe (Morris) Rinzler of Sadgora. I
have not included the fifth generation as that would include living family
members who may not be willing to have their names posted on an open list
such as this. If you have any inkling of a relationship to any of the
iniduals below, please contact me directly.

Here is a brief narrative history of the family:

Rinzler

The original family tree was written in Yiddish and lost during World War I.
The Rinzler family originated in Spain and after the Jews were forced to
leave Spain Rinzlers settled in a small city called Halle on the banks of
the Saale River in what is now Germany. Much later, around 1775, a Rinzler
moved to Stanislav in what is now Poland. Other Rinzlers settled in Rumania,
Chernovtsy, Piatra-Neamti, and Bacau. David Rinzler lived in a small
village, Zadubrovka, more than 100 years ago. It is close to Sadgura. He
had four children Chaim, Koppel, Dvorah and Resie. Chaim Rinzler married
Resie Breuer. He was intelligent, tall and handsome. Resie was the
daughter of a family that had many Rabbis. They were from Galicia. Chaim
lived in Lenkovtsy which is close to Chernivtsy. He was the manager of a
200 hectar farm which belonged to a wealthy Pole named Bogdanovicz. When
the farm was sold, around 1860, Chaim Rinzler started to sell alcohol in the
villages near Lenkovtsy (Bila and Revna). Chaim and Resie had six children
Bendit, Koppel, Isaac, Chaize, Rifka and Sara.
