<x-flowed>I am offering to do lookups in the Czernowitz cemetery register. For
the most part, you will get the name, parcel, and grave number.
Sometimes an exact date of death is given; more often, just the year
is given. Occasionally, you might get the name of the father.

1. I will do lookups in the order in which they are received. I
anticipate a pretty hefty demand, so please be prepared to wait until
I have time.

2. I can only look for a specific name, please specify a range of
years (under 5 years per name).

3. Send me as many inidual names as you wish, but I can not scan
the registers for all entries with a particular surname. That will
have to await the creation of the complete, searchable database.

4. I can only search between the years 1906 and 1947. These are the
only years in which the registers are alphabetized and readable by
those of us who are Cyrillic-challenged.

5. I will abstract whatever I find and send it to you by email.

Thanks to Hymie Reichstein for allowing me to do these look-ups for
the group. He has also agreed to allow us to post sample images
taken from these registers to the Czernowitz web site
<http://czernowitz.dnsalias.org>. Don't look yet, they aren't yet
posted.

Regards to all!

Bruce
