Dear "Czernowitzer"s,

As those of you who receive "Die Stimme", the publication of the World
Organization
of Bukovinian Jews, have probably noticed, the latest issue includes two
pages in English.
I have received an inquiry from Mrs. Barbel Rabi, the editor of "Die
Stimme" asking me
how this change has been received by the "American" readers. In order to
give her as full
and correct an answer, please, either let me know your reaction or write
directly to her,

She further asked me, whether any of us would like to write biographical
notes, to be
published in the English section of "Die Stimme", similar to some which
are occasionally
included in the German section.

I think that, to the extent that the members of our group, and the
readers of "Die Stimme"
do NOT overlap, it might be worth while publishing in "Die Stimme" an
account of any
happenings or news of our group. By this I mean, publishing the names
and possibly the
whereabouts of new members to the group, also brief descriptions of our
individual as well
as joint, Bukovina related activities.

Please let me know your reactions and suggestions.

Excuse me for writing about mundane matters on Yom Hashoah.
