I've never responded to one of these but here goes. The potato kugel recipe


is fine but I have found that if you boil 1/2 of the potatoes before shredding


them into the rest of the kugel recipe the whole thing turns out whiter and


with a more interesting texture. My dad was from Czernowitz.
