[Cz-L] The Trip to Vienna/Czernowitz

This is my first time as a participant in this group. I have been amazed by
the discussion of a Reunion of Chernowitzers in Vienna.

I was born in Chernowitz in 1936 and spend the war years in Bershad,
Transnistria. Three years ago, at the urging of my younger daughter
who was doing an
Art Project on her family's experience in the Shoah, I returned. In addition
to Chernowitz, we visited my parents' villages of Banilev (Chermosh) and
Kiselev as well as our Concentration Camp in Bershad.

I find the discussion of a Reunion in Vienna strange, since it has nothing
to do with us Chernowitzers. I for one do not plan to join this
trip. I would be delighted to go to Chernowitz/Israel any time, so I
can take my
wife and older daughter who could not make our last trip.
