Hello all,

I hope you won't mind if I inquire again if the name Benjamin Aprile sounds
familiar to anyone. My grandfather, who was born in Czernowitz, belonged to
a Society, I think in New York, named after him. I've already checked
Hannah Kliger's Jewish Hometown Associations and Family Circles in New York,
and the WPA Yiddish Writers' Group list from the 30's, as well as all the
lists at the NY Jewish Genealogical Society (New York Landsmanshaftn and
Other Jewish Organizations) http://home.att.net/%7Elandsmanshaft/

At this point I don't think I'll ever find anything about a society, but
perhaps someone knows the name or the person?
