I was moved by your story because you and I seem to belong to the few ones
who really lived in Czernowitz. Most members of the Czernowitz group are
interested in geneageology, ( did I spell this right?)details of family,
aunts, uncles, grandparents who once lived there, while they themselves
never or maybe in some cases, visited the city.
I spent my first 16 years there and frankly I am still homesick for
Czernowitz, or maybe just homesick for a carefree childhood which ended with
the war!
It was good hearing from you!
