Welcome to the group! There are several of us REISCH descendants on
this list and I'm sure we'll have much to discuss and share with you.
But I'll take that discussion off-list with you so we don't bore the
group with the nitty-gritty details of our families.

Last week I spoke (via Skype, www.skype.com) with Ziv Reisch of
Israel. His family also originated in Czernowitz. I thought this
might be my cousin Zev Reisch of Haifa, but this was a different
Ziv/Zev. His father's name is Jacob who was the son of Herman
Reisch. There were three other brothers of Herman, - Isaac, Shimon
and Jacob - and they immigrated many years before to the U.S. Ziv
Reisch is interested in finding this lost family in the U.S. I
noticed that you also have an Isaac Reisch in your family. Perhaps
there is some connection.
