interested to meet the mayor: David has given good reason's why we should
not avoid the present officials.

BTW: I have made the Bucharest Czernowitz trip by train and it has indeed
part of the past we all so love. The old railway station and the telephone
poles from K.u.K times are still there and working!
Please count on me for a reservation to one of the hotels there: Cheremosh
or Bukovina. I remember Bukovia is closer to downtown, so I would prefer it
in spite of the fact that Cheremosh is a modern hotel on the far side of the
Volksgarten.
