Personally, I think that having to add everyone to my address book and put
them in a list is a bit of a chore, and may even be too technical for some
users. I propose creating a free, Yahoo email list (see
http://groups.yahoo.com/). The list would not have to be moderated, you can
freely join or leave it, you can use any email account -- not just Yahoo
accounts, and Yahoo swears they don't make any other use of the email
addresses. I set up a list for the JGS of Sacramento a few months ago, and it
has worked just fine. If Mimi gives the word, I'd be happy to set up the list.
