Dear Czernowitzers,

Someone may have reported on this book before me, but if anyone did,
I missed it.

"Czernowitz und die Bukowina 1890-1910"

Is a slim hard cover volume of photographs of this period which was
published in 2001 by Helfried Seemann und Christian Lunzer. It contains
126 photographs mostly of Czernowitz, and some of Sadagora, Radautz,
Wiznitz, Dorna Vatra, Solka, Novosielitza, Hadikfalva and Suczawa.
The photographs are mainly of buildings, but some are of groups of people.
I think this book is a wonderful record of how the region looked at the time
of our grand- and great-grandparents. Interestingly, some Czernowitz
buildings have hardly changed at all, others no longer exist.

This would be a wonderful book to take with us, when we visit Chernivtsi,
the Bukovyna and the Bucovina, a sort of "then and now".

I would very much like to order this book, but do not know from whom and
how, can anyone advise me?
