I'd like to bring a concern that I have to the group concerning the
trip being planned to Cz next year. I ask that any initiatives or
planning that relates to the restoration of the Jewish Cemetery, to
the extent any is contemplated, be brought to the larger group. I
believe strongly that this should be a "larger community" issue - one
in which we can all play a part and one in which we should all have a
voice. Would it be possible for those of you headed for Cz in '06 to
just confirm that you will honor such a request on the part of the
larger group?

I say this because there occasionally arise discussions about the
Cemetery, and even the trip to Cz, that are energized by resentment,
old anger, and a predisposition to suspect others who might have a
stake in this. That, for me, would be an extremely unsavory context
in which to want to participate in what for me is a deeply personal
matter - as well as a community
matter in which we may all take pride.

As always, thanks for listening and,
Shabat shalom,
Nina
