Many thanks to all who wrote me about how to obtain the book
"Czernowitz und die Bukowina 1890-1910".
Excuse me for not thanking you individually, this is such a
friendly group, that I received a lot of answers and advice.

I am fortunate to have access to the wonderful library of Indiana
University, where I keep combing the indexes and the stacks.
Another book which I very much would like to purchase is
"Judisches Stadtebild Czernowitz"
published by Judischer Verlag im Suhrkamp Verlag, 1998

It seems to be out of print. For those who are interested, there is
a copy in the library of the Bukowina Jewish organization in Tel-Aviv.
It is a wonderful collection of essays, stories and poems by over 20
different authors, some of them Czernowitzers, some like Martin Buber,
occasional visitors. Some are Jewish, some, like Nicolae Jorga,
admitted anti-Semites. All these works being together in one book,
makes for a very full view of Czernowitz.

Whenever possible, I would rather deal with a real bookstore, and not with
Amazon and other electronic merchants. Please, if any of you could recommend
a reliable bookstore which specializes in literature related to Czernowitz,
anywhere in Europe, Israel or America, I will be very grateful.

Best regards,
                Mimi
