[Cz-L] Transnistria today.

For everyone's information when visiting Czernowitz and Transnistria.

A BBC news item today had extensive information about the fact that
Transnistria is the arms-smuggling centre in Europe. The Ukrainan,
Moldovan and other surrounding countries cannot cope with the corruption
and the criminal elements there. The Russians are ignoring it
apparently, so the neighbouring countries have asked the European Union
to try and influence the Russians to do something about this.=20
It sounds as though extreme caution should be exercised when visiting
the region.
