Dear Bukowiners:

I'd like to make sure you're all aware of the excellent work taking
place in Radauti to restore the Jewish Cemetery and synagogue, and to
make available an index to burials as well as photos of each
tombstone online. Bondy Stenzler and a number of other ex-Radautzers
(including some of our list members) have worked with the Jewish
community in Radauti to carry out this project for the last two
years. The results can be seen at their web site:

which includes not only information about the cemetery project, but
also a bibliography of literature related to Jewish Bukovina.

Congratulations to Bondy Stenzler and friends for their excellent
work on this project. I understand that they have Suceava and Siret
