[Cz-L] New List Member: Joe Seidler

Hello,

I just joined this list and it asked me to introduce myself. I was
born in Baltimore in 1944 where most of my Seidlers still live; I now
live in San Francisco. I have been researching my family genealogy for
about 15 years including hiring Miriam Weiner in 1995 to research my
family in Ukraine (she was very successful).

My father is 87, and both he and his oldest brother (who was
interviewed in 1985 before he died) remember their father talking
about Sadagora. We aren't sure if our family was born there of if this
oldest brother was sent there to prepare for his Bar Mitzvah. We think
the family lived in or around Orinin which is about 10-15 miles NW of
Kamenetz-Podolsk and 40-50 miles NE of Sadagora.

So I joined this list to try to find out more about Sadagora. The name
of Czernowitz was never mentioned in the family according to my
father. I maintain a genealogy website that shows names and family
trees of my extended family. It also shows Seidler family trees of non-
related Jewish Seidlers in the hope that it will help them or others
connect.
