Greetings,

Berti Glaubach was kind enough to translate from German to English the
dissertation summary of Jane Rostos about the daily Czernowitzer Morgenblatt
newspaper.

The English version, as well as the German version, can now be found at my
online virtual Museum of Family History. Jane also sent along photographs of
two Morgenblatt front pages, one dated October 28, 1919 (a full page), and
the other May 29, 1920 (a more magnified top half of a front page.) Perhaps
one of you who speak and can translate German fairly fluently will like to
read some of the articles, and perhaps even translate it for the rest of us
(if you think it may be of interest to others), and I can include this too
on another webpage.

With my computer, I can click on either of the two newspaper photos I've
mentionsed and see a larger image. These images are rather large, so
depending on the speed of your connection, it might take a minute or two for
the newspaper photos to open--but at least you'll be able to read it! I
don't know when the last time some of you native Cz'ers saw a page of the
Morgenblatt, so perhaps this will all be of interest to you. I hope so.

The page with the photos and links to the pages displaying the English and
German versions of the dissertation summary can be found at
www.musuemoffamilyhistory.com/czernowitz-morgenblatt.htm . As mentioned, the
dissertation summary pages can be reached by using the underlined links on
this same page.

Again, thanks to Berti for taking the time to translate the dissertation
summary for all us non-German speakers.

Mit grus,
