[Cz-L] Good news...

Hi everyone!
You will remember that during my short stay in Cz for the October 600-years=
 celebration, I met a few members of the City Coucil and discussed with them=
 the TP plate, etc. I also told you that I visited inside the townhall the c=
onference room where the portraits of (in principle) all former mayors of th=
e city are displayed – except those of 1941-44, considered as an occ=
upation period, an explanation about which I gave them some contra-arguments=
.
Today, I got news from my friend in Kiev. She met one of the Council member=
s this week and the good news are: first, the confirmation that the TP plate=
 has been approved and that steps will be taken for its implementation, etc.=
; second, that the City Council also decided to include the missing portrait=
s of the mayors 1941-44 (four of them) among which that of TP! They must now=
 redo the display, in order to get additional space on the walls for those f=
our portraits… :) Maybe that is why in the official announcement we =
heard about a few days ago, TP is called "Mayor" and not just "Head" of the =
city.
I wish you a belated happy Hannukah and - goyish as I am - I also wish us a=
ll a happy and healthy year 2009!
