Greetings,
I have added the poem by Itzik Manger to my Manger page at
www.museumoffamilyhistory.com/czernowitz-voices-manger.htm. The title of the
poem is "oyf der stantsye Kolomey." Included is Manger reciting his own
poem, the Yiddish (Hebrew alphabet) and the transliterated Yiddish. I am
hoping to include the English translation at some point.
This second poem is above the first "lomir zhe zingen," and is found on the
same webpage. Just click on the title of the poem on the webpage (after
you've turned on your speakers), and the audio clip will begin to play.
Happy New Year to all!
Best,
