Hi,
Thank you for sharing the memory of my mother. The footnote about the
architects of the Furth and Czernowitz theaters is doubly interesting to me, as I
am an architect.
My mother certainly cared greatly about participating in bringing Selma's
voice back; it turns out that the constructing of the echo of Selma's voice
occurred in a place that had a formal resonance of its own with Czernowitz. How
fitting.

Hi,
I had the pleasure of meeting your mother in New York and she gave me an
autographed copy of her Memoir. Thank you for sharing with us her writing
about the play Selma.
I have a footnote to your mother's observation that the Nationaltheater in
Czernowitz looked very similar to the Stadttheater Fuerth: both were
designed by the same famous architects, Helmer and Fellner from Vienna, at
the beginning of the 20th century.
Regards,
Alfred (Fred) Schneider
