And if your great granddaughter was born in Czernowitz, your grandfather
in Hawrilak and your father in the US? The list includes people like me
who who have never even seen the city, much less lived there, although
descended from residents of Czernowitz. I can read English and Hebrew,
French Mathematics texts and nothing else, although I might recognize a
stray word here and there in some other languages.
