Hi Maita et al:

Please feel free to use whatever images you wish from the ehpes.com
website. The only visual materials under copyright are those
explicitly marked as such, and only one instance comes to mind: the
work of Edward Tur. Edward has given Ehpes permission to post his work
and also to use it for the 600th Anniversary celebrations. Many of the
pictures of modern Czernowitz that Hardy used in his slide show are
Edward's work.

If you do use works from the website, and if the contributor is known,
it would be appropriate to attribute that work as follows: "--from
ehpes.com - courtesy of <name of contributor>". If the contributor is
unknown as in the case of many of the 'Postcard' albums, "--from
ehpes.com" is sufficient.

In the case of Edward's work, the attribution should read: "photo by
Edward Turkiewich <ESWU_at_sacura.chernovtsy.ua>".

In general, I consider the audio/visual materials on the Ehpes website
to be in the public domain except where otherwise indicated. That
said, I am NOT extending permission to use the archived list messages,
stories, histories, biographies, captions on pictures which identify
specific people, or text materials from 'List Member's Pages. If you
wish to use these materials, please contact the original poster for
permission.

Best regards for a successful exhibition!
