Dear Mr. Hardy,
This a huge performance, to recruit a so overwhelming majority.
Everyone, even with a little knowledge of mathematics,
know that even 7:0= INFINIT. With my vote it is now only 7:1, not so
overwhelming!!!!
This vote and the result, remember me the polls during the dark years of the
COMUNIST RULE in the Soviet Union and his satellites.
Anyhow, nobody ask me to participate to this vote.
In 1940 the Soviets arrested and deported the rich people of Czernowitz
the so-called "Burjui" to Siberia . As most rich were Jewish it could be
called an anti-Jewish operation - but it was not, some were not Jewish.
But it was definitely not Holocaust.
The organizers of the Museum now want to pull history one year back
and make the Holocaust cover the 1940 Soviet deportation.
This period is now offered to us as a Holocaust surrogate!
Why not cover the Nazi Holocaust? The real thing?
Because of the participation of the local collaborates, who took part.
This they will not have. Too nasty.
They have one more reason: By mentioning the TRANSNISTRIAN HOLOCAUST,"done"
by the ROMANIAN AUTORITIES, they recognize the illegally annexation of
northern BUKOVINA, including Cz.(1945). Bukovina at all was legally annexed
to Romania as a result of the Versailles peace treaty (1918)
Mr. Zissel's decision of having" one wall in the Jewish museum dedicated to
the events of the Holocaust as experienced by the Jews of Czernowitz",will
be the "WESTERN WALL"?
Therefore my proposal is to cease the contribution to this "MUSEUM" and to
erect the same museum in Romania in one of the cities in the part of
Bukovina that the soviet Ukraine didn't annexed after the WW2.
Proposed cities are:Cimpulung-Moldova,Vatra Dornei,Suceava,Radauti.Dorohoi.
Obviously the TRANSNISTRIAN holocaust was done by the ROMANIAN ANTONESCU's
regime.
Best regards,
Emil Hitzig,
Israel

The Museum Vote :
Here are the results of the recent vote :
For collaboration 7
Against 0
Abstained 342
According to this overwhelming majority ,the pro- collaboration
resolution was adopted.
Members are urgently invited to send their family photos
to the Museum without delay, as space is running short .
" Blessed are the meek , for they shall inherit the real estate "
said Jesus on a hill overlooking the Sea of Gallilee,
( where we had a picnic this weekend).
I hereby also withdraw the presentation I made for the occasion.
It contains subversive material like Holocaust, Temple,
Traian Popovici and therefore better left out.
