Dear Cornel,
Yes, the correct name (in Romanian) is "Noua Sulitza". In Yiddish
"Novoseletz". My grandparents came to Cz. from there. My mother and my
sister were born there. It used to be on the border between the Tzarist
Russia and Austria (divided between the two countries in the middle of the
village/township), and is not far away from Cz. (perhaps some 30 km.).
There is relatively large Jewish community originating from Novoseletz in
Lima, Peru.
Regards, Abraham K.
