The Temple,
The building in its present condition cannot be used for any respectable
use.
From the awe -inspiring ,gracious ,Moorish style gem it is now reduced to
an
amputated stump.
The sealed off windows ,the roof, the additional floor the entrance
give the
place the appearance of a grain silo or a hangar.
For us it will always be the Temple but the tourist cannot imagine how
this building looked in its splendor.
Today it is a memorial of times gone of a period marked for oblivion.
I once thought that an Opera could be established there.
The "Joseph Schmidt Opera" of the Chernivitsi Oblast.
The only opera of the Bukovina.
Dreams.
