It appears that the plaque in the older photo was moved from the left side of the building, probably left of the front door (which can be seen fully in the newer photo), to the right edge of the building as seen in the newer photo, which also shows a gutter downspout immediately to the right of the plaque, then an alley way. The building has also been repainted, perhaps for the 600th anniversary celebration.
Why place the downspout so close to the plaque or vice versa, thereby diminishing its full view? To me, that seems to be either unintelligible or unconcerned disrespect.
