Re: [Cz-L] Memorial site

Dear All,

I have placed a photograph of the monument in the Jewish cemetery,
to the Jews murdered by the Fascists in a Picasa Web Album.
It is photograph number 11.

As you will see this memorial says that this is the location of the burial
of 900 Jews murdered by the Fascists.

Question: Were there two mass killings? One in Bila and one somewhere else?
On this memorial stone it is clearly written: "here lie 900 Jews".
On the Bila memorial it says: "here were shot 400 Czernowitz Jews"

Does anyone know: Were the Jews shot at Bila buried in the Jewish cemetery?
Where were the other 500 victims killed?
