Miriam (Mimi) Taylor <mirtaylo_at_indiana.edu>

Hello Ami,

My name is Miriam (Mimi) Taylor, I am a fellow member of the Cz-List.
My uncle Yehoshua (Shiku) Steinmetz was also on the ship that left from
Constanta to Palestine in 1944. He had been taken from Czernowitz to a
forced labor camp in Romania. My parents bribed the appropriate people,
so that he could escape the camp and get on that ship. My cousins,
children of this uncle, live in Israel and may know more details.

What suffering that generation went through!

Mimi
