All this is nostalgia,
Prague no longer speaks German,
Czernowitz no longer has German speakers .
The soul of old Czernowitz left 60 years ago to Israel and America ,as
refugees.
What is left are memories and nostalgia.
And this too not for very long now.

Subject: RE: [Cz-L] Cemetery
Sorry,
I saw Cz as a Mittle Europa city closer to Prague and its German speaking
elite than to Moscow or Kiev.
Cz was taken from Romania by Stalin for losing WW2 and inherited by Ukraine
which does not look like it understands the soul of what it now "owns"
