Hi,
I do agree with the great contribution the Empire made to our city
historically and culturally but not one of the rulers ever recognized
OUR contribution to the prosperity in it.
You are quite right, some got titled and one even lived in our city,
(forgot his name) I suppose it's I who are so sensitive to praising
the past - even my mother was angry about my attitude- guess I got
bitter with all I lived through.
