[Cz-L] Payments for the plaque

Dear Czernowitzers,

I have already received a number of checks, contributions towards
paying for the Popovici plaque. In order that there be control
over how much money is being contributed, as I receive the checks,
I acknowledge the receipt to the sender and also notify
Hardy Breier <HARDY3_at_BEZEQINT.NET>
and Wolfi Schaechter <wolfgangs_at_comcast.net>
of the amount received and the name of the contributor.

I prefer not to publish to the list, the names of the contributors
and the amounts contributed, but each one of you, who has contributed,
can and should get affirmation from either Hardy or Wolfi.

Sicher ist sicher, sagt der alte Michel und hangt
die tote Schwiegermutter auf.
Translation: certain is certain says old Michael and hangs his
dead mother in law.
I have nothing against mothers in law, I am one myself,
but to the best of my knowledge, this is a Czernowitz saying.
