[Cz-L] Heritage Foundation

I am not quite sure what Charles Rosner's objection is to "that
Rabbi's organization" by which I assume he means the Heritage
Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Cemeteries,
<http://hfpjc.org/>. They seem to have an impressive track record in
Eastern Europe and a web site full of information. They offer to
carry out a full evaluation for a nominal fee that will sponsor a
thorough evaluation of the cemetery covering expenses incurred by
traveling to the site, determining the exact cemetery boundaries,
contacting local authorities, obtain pre-war map and permits, etc.
When the evaluation is complete, they supply a detailed report
outlining the cemetery's status, digital photographs, and price
quotes for necessary restoration work. Doesn't that sound what is
needed? I imagine they can supply references if anyone feels
qualified to investigate them! BTW I have no personal knowledge of
the Heritage Foundation or any connection to it.
