Dear all,
As I wrote previously, Julia Myasyshcheva of SVIT Ukraine would like to have
information boards made, to be erected at the Jewish cemetery in Chernivtsi.
Alternatively, as suggested by Hardy, pamphlets of information about the
cemetery might be offered to visitors.
Whether on a board or on a printed pamphlet, we urgently need the following:
1. Name of the designer or planner of the cemetery.
2. Accurate date at which cemetery was inaugurated.
3. Name of the architect who designed the ceremonial Hall.
4. The current official map of the cemetery includes a list of prominent
people interred in it and their graves are marked on the map,
should we use this list as is? Add the names of other people
interred in the cemetery to this list? Take some people off the list?
Please, please, take the time to do the necessary research and send me your
answers as soon as possible,
Mimi
