Have looked for info...and the 1st Turkish troops in the area were the 19th
and 20th divisions who made up the 15th Army Corps. They arrived in Galicia
end of July 1916 and were all gone by June 1917.However,I can find no
evidence that they got as far as Czernowitz...any more information would be
appreciated!!! Cornel

In 1914 they were allies of the Austrians and fought together against the
Russians.
