Anny,
  The Turkish rule ended in 1775. In the mid 1800 there were no Turks
there.
   Even before - there were no Turks , they ruled by proxy (tax collectors).
         In the meantime we know the story of the Moslem mass grave on the
Jewish cemetery.

    1. These were Russian soldiers from the Caucas or Asia Minor and of
Moslem creed
         fallen in WW1. No Turks.
    2. At the time they were buried , the area was outside of the Jewish
Cemetery,
        in an area named Military Cemetery. Later the Jewish cemetery
expanded to
        the north and south including the Military Cemetery.
